Ale, Max, Giotto, Flavio, Pino, Marco & Gianni are seven young Neapolitans with one thing in common: they are Naples Soccer fanatics. This is the story of one day in their lives and a journey to northern Italy for an important match.
“I have seen television in-depth reports and films about Naples too many times. They are factional and often have an ax to grind. Therefore I had to narrate what I had inside and document it without any trickery. I forged such a strong bond with the young people who are the protagonists of this work of mine that we managed to make the television camera ‘disappear.’ I followed and filmed these splendid people for two weeks. Every last one of them is perfectly integrated into society. Although they did not renounce their ties with the past, they claimed that they wanted a change and that they wanted to be taken into a new dimension of life” (Vincenzo Marra).
